I caught enough of an internet signal to make a quick post. We're doing pretty well actually. I had hoped to spend time anchored out at China cove and Angel Island. The weather changed our plans. Oh well, maybe next year.
I decided to flee the bad weather and head inland. Vivi and I spent time in Benicia and Petaluma. We experienced high winds and rain at night and fair weather during the day.
Both Benicia and Petaluma are interesting cities where one can spend your days. Petaluma has a grocery outlet to the east of the turning basin that allowed us to stock up on provisions at reasonable prices.
Today, despite small craft warnings, we broke out of Petaluma and came up to Sausalito for the Spring Faire. We did not encounter the expected winds.
In Sausalito, the locals are going to a restaurant up by the West Marine called "Saylors". Vivi had clam linguini, that must have had 20 fresh clams in it. I had the shrimp louie and chowder which were exceptional.
We're looking forward to the warm weather. We didn't have any leaks in the boat, but none the less, things are getting a bit damp and need drying out.
Full moon rising over Benicia.
Tied down for the gale that came through that night.

The dinghy shopping trip.
We were worried about crossing the shallow San Pablo bay under small craft advisories, but as you can see, it was calm.
Our ancient Bayliner 2556 did an admirable job keeping up comfy during the blow. It's great when 6000 Ebay parts come together and work out well for you.
