136 days until March 30th.
164 days until April 27th.
192 days until May 25th.

When do you anticipate your 2013 launch?
In years past, I've launch as early as mid-March, and as late as Memorial Day.

I usually go in around April 15. I just came out so I'm in the process of winterizing. I can't start thinking about splash dates yet.

anything significant about those days, Ed?

Once I get OUT of the water, I'll start thinking about re-launching.

May 1st 2013. If I launch before then I have to pay $100.00 for each boat they have to move to get to mine. It is stored inside. May 1st and after they just charge $2.00 a foot to launch.

Was out before the storm. Next launch date is 12/5 in Key Largo FL. Out end of february, Then launch in Hudson River as soon as it is warm enough to catch some stripers.

Mike and Hank,
I hope you call your insurance company and get an extension or rider if you are still in the water. Nov 15 is here.

Doing a short haul to clean the bottom and put on new zincs and I am winterizing this weekend. Also doing an oil change in the transmissions and motors and sending out samples of those and the genset for analysis. That gives me roughly three months to change out the waste lines, rebuild the vacu-flushes, clean and paint the new/found bilge or storage areas, line the cabinet where the washer dryer was with cedar, put in the wood floors, build new wood stairs, install some new lighting fixtures, install the new chartplotter, and repair the windlass. Then it is re-commission and start the new season in the Chesapeake.

I called BoatUS prior to the storm to see where I was insured and they told me I'm covered all year in or out.

Just got hauled right before the storm and haven't even thought about when I will go back in the water.

Taking all week off for Thanksgiving. Going 20 miles out, up into a canyon, and dropping the anchor.

Will build a big ass fire on the beach. Drink beer and look up at the stars.

I don't know how you all live in the NE. Shorts 365 days of the year out here unless you go up to the mountains to go skiing.
