deck mounted chain locker comments?

In the process of changing to an all chain anchor rode. The anchor rode storage area on my Silverton leaves a lot to be desired so I thought of storing chain maybe into a box or bucket on deck.

Have others stored chain on their decks in a deck mounted box? General comments?
