depth finder installation

I have a Regal 1800 LSR and I want to install a depth finder.

I bought a Humminbird 610 and the instructions say if you wire it to the fuse box use a 1 amp fuse. I can't find a 1 amp fuse anywhere. Has anyone done that?

It says you can also wire it to the ignition but also put an inline 1 amp fuse for that which I can't find either. Also on the ignition switch there are 3 poles all of which have 1 or 2 wires connected. If I wire it to the ignition does it matter which one I use.

If going to the ignition you want to select the wire that is "hot' when the key is turned on. You have to supply your own inline 1 amp fuse.
