Detroit Michigan Boat Show

[Split Decision]

The Detroit, Michigan Boat Show is February 11 -19th.

We used to make the 2 1/2 hour drive to Michigan to attend the show but stopped years ago because the overall size of the show had decreased considerably.

My wife and I were thinking about driving over this Sunday to the Detroit Show but wondered if anybody here had already attended and wouldn't mind sharing their thoughts on this boat show?

Many cruisers over 30', worth while going?

I am doing my best to get there....but with the new born at home, I seem to keep leaving all of my free time behind! LOL

I hear ya Ken, you still have 2 more days to try and get there.

A couple from our marina is attending this afternoon. I hope to hear back from them later today so I can decide if its worth my drive.

If you, your wife and little one are around on the Canadian Victoria Day long weekend (May 19/20th) feel free to visit us over at Metro Beach marina for a beer or two. I'd enjoy talking to you about anchorages in Lake St.Clair.

Sounds good. I plan to be around, even if the baby is kicking and screaming! She has to learn the way of life, boating that is!
