I'm also contemplating a trip thru the TSW this Summer...coming up from Leamington Ontario and entering from Georgian Bay. I'll come back to homeport across Lake Ontario and either take the Erie Canal to Lake Erie or maybe this time I'll try the Welland Canal.
My question is about the availability of diesel on the TSW. My Ports Guide and other Trent material is on the way...but I'm concerned about running low. I've heard that the tanks should be topped off whenever I pass a place that sells diesel. I carry 200 gallons in a 3270 Bayliner. Any help appreciated. Thanks and cheers.
