Digital Tachs

I clicked on one of Les' ads this morning and noticed they sold digital tachs. Their price was on sale for roughly $60. I went to the Aetna site and their tachs are roughly $250. Other than the Aetna having larger digits, I'm curious as to what is the difference? I have heard Aetna's are great, but compared only to analog. What about other digitals. I don't know the technology, so is Aetna just a reputable name or is there something else behind it?

The only reason I can think it would have popped up if based on previous searches (not an effing word Walter!!) is because I've searched for Aetna tachs and shaft RPM gauges.
