Directv point of attachment

I want to bring the Directv cables through the stern of my boat. The system requires a two cables that are molded together.

Is there a thru hull for this application or am I stuck using a thru hull like this.

I really wanted to have a connecting point instead of a wire hanging out the stern when I leave the dock.

I would use a standard marine cable inlet either plastic or stainless and modify the plate to take two cable inlets instead of cable and phone.

Sorry, I thought you had a dish on the boat you were cabling. I think Gary's suggestion is best for your needs.

you didn't describe your boat or dock setup.
a. if you want to avoid cables altogether and
have a waterproof dock box you can use a slingbox and wifi to leave the direct tv stuff on the dock.
Advantage is no wires to boat and you can watch tv from various devices and locations on boat.

b. you can get an outdoor duplex cable box and mount it on the boat. Mine has just such a setup next to the shore water connection and the telephone connection.

Thanks for the ideas. I was at WM earlier and saw a stainless duplex spring loaded cover. I think I am going to go in that direction as the two cable screw on connections in the phone/cable inlet would be a pita. I don't want it on the dock either, because I want to take it with me.
