Well The boats all put away til they fill our lake back up. Hope it goes fast. I don't know how all of you in the ice zones can do this every year,i would go nuts. I'll puts some pics of the lake going down on another post
Thx Ken If it wasn't for a phone box in the way it would be in the back yard. There is a twelve foot gate right behind the boat and enough length to have the truck and boat behind the gate .
quick question for you Chris, off-topic of course. I've got a 1999 292 with the twin volvo penta 5.0gxi's (220hp each). What type of performance do you get with your 5.7s? Do you know fuel economy (gph, mpg), top RPM and top speed?
Great to see another 292 owner on here, but what're you doing putting the boat away this early in Arizona?
See my other post about the lake going down, I get about a mile to the gal at cruising or full throtle. I tested it once at Lake Powell. Wide open is about 4400rpm Cruising is about 3200rpm. Top speed with a clean bottom and calm water is about 46mph. Usally here in Az we Boat 365 days a year. Chris
Heres a little contrast as to weather. This picture was taken Saturday also. I was 99% complete with the winterization process and just had a little cleanup work left to do when we got this snowstorm. I finished today and put her into storage until mid april.
We set a record high this week, I wish I would have kept my boat in much longer this year. Instead I shipped it to the dealer for serivce. Looks like I will get it back in a week, just in time for the cold temps to come. I have spring fever already...
Global warming..... Raystown lake Pennsylvania, Tuesday, October 9, 2007. Water temp 73, air 82, lake full of water, full tank of fuel in the boat, boating on the lake and, swim in the lake, priceless.
