Now into my 2nd year with power, really should be considered 1st year when looking back at how much time the boat was underway last season.
I fully understand why blowers are needed prior to starting an engine, the generator or propulsion. But what about underway? Maybe underway is not important because there is sooo much noise and one will not hear the blower anyway. The generator is another matter.
To date, I have run the blowers when any of the 3 engines are operated although I would prefer NOT running the blowers with the generator while on anchor. How do other people consider risks of running/not running blowers after starting engines??
