Dock and Dine in Sandy Hook Bay

Yup, Bahr's Landing will usually let you tie up on the gas dock so will Moby's, farther down the Shrewsbury there is the Quay, a little farther you hit the Dockside (at Navesink Marina) farther yet Sally T's at the Channel Club (not positive that you can dock there so call ahead). Up the Navesink River you have the Salt Creek Grill, & The Molly Pitcher.

I little bit more information on the area; urban legend states that Sally T's will allow tieup at the gas dock after hours. I have personally confirmed that this is not allowed. I am not sure how this will be enforced but the owners told me personally (I did not find out by trying); that the lease of the does not allow this practice.
As far as the salt creek grill / molly pitcher. Please note that the water on the Navesink is very skinny at low tide; if you plan to make this trip. If you draft over 3 feet low tide will certainly mean that you are bumping bottom (mud) on at least two occasions.
IF you want to try for the salt creek; once you come under the oceanic bridge; please enter do not make the immediate turn to port to head to the dock (this will find you grounded) head furhter south down the river and use the private marked channel for the marina (our marina) next to the salt creek.
