As soon our boat goes back in the water in about three weeks, how about some help?
We can buy a fiberglass dock box, standard size and spend a pretty penny as most seem to be about $300!!! YIKES...Fist off where do they get off charging $300 for a molded fiberglass box and couple of hinges! Its not like there selling some huge inovation! OR my buddy and I could go buy some wood supplies and attempt to build one...Only problem is I am definately not the best wood worker in the world, and we don't have a lot of tools....So will a few 2x4's a few pieces of plywood and some screws do the job? Or do I just pony up the dough???? Sugestions? Does anyone know how to build a dock box and if you could share some idea's or insights it would be helpfull!!
