If you need dock space, let me know, we can probably find some spots to put some boats.

Have room for our motorhome.....we will be in town that week!

Would love to but will be away on a cruise.

Thanks Dave.

Sure Don. May even have 30 amp power for you.
Some new people on dock are organizing it

Anyone on a finger slip? I could prob pull the little bit in between the two boats and just get off onto the finger..

Thanks Dave.....just remembered...we have plans to be at a C/G near Point Lookout that week......because Deb is doing the Point Lookout Triathlon Sept 8th. So we may just drive up with the Jeep after the race to say hello....and hang for a while.............NO electric required.

See you all then !

My wife and kids are going to a sweet 16 that night. Maybe I'll swing by and meet some of you guys if it goes that late.

Agreed, would love to finally meet all you guys, but we're going to be in AC.

We will have to see as we get closer.
I know of one that is open, but I need to go measure it for you.
My plan is to stop in the office and see what's available, then confirm width.
What do you need beam wise again?
Worst case scenario we could lay you up against the bulkhead at the end of D dock.
Plenty of water and we can run electric to there pretty easily.
Issue of course is you will need to fender off to poles.
But you have those nice fuzzy ones!
As long as there is no wind, it won't be a bad place to spend the night.
You would block 2 boats, but one never moves and the other I know the owner and I will talk to him.

Last year we had more open slips than this year.
Also around labor day some people haul, so slips may open up.

Gee Rob.......if I still owned my house in Copiague.......you would have a slip for sure....and a ride over to the AYC !!! :)

OK... just let me know . BEAMS 14'

Bulkhead last resort

Rob

Dave, the slip next to mine is open. Joe got a new boat and is keeping it at Marine Max for the rest of the season. I can call him to confirm that it is available that weekend. I think it is 12'6" wide.

Thanks. We need a 14' for Rob.
Could ask guy on my dock to relocate to that slip as he is like 10' beam in 16' beam slip but not sure he will like that.

What, you guys aren't inviting ITK? <G>

Why is that funny? Brcause a boater doesnt like having parties on the dock or have a gathering place for people. Yeah that makes him bad.
