"Dockwa" - A new marina booking program

Not for a while. They are targeting the 40 to 60 foot range. From what I understand, the 30 to 50 foot range is where the biggest hit was taken in the industry. I wish them well. I like the concept.

I downloaded the app and registered to check it out. I like the simple and attractive interface with the slip price/ft. on the marina location search page and list of amenities on sub pages. Booking and payment appear to be as simple as booking a hotel online is; just type in the dates and size of your boat (Not that you need to tell a hotel what size boat you have though:). I'd like to see the gas & diesel prices listed for marinas that have it as well. Just last month they announced they are dropping the +-5% booking fee they charged boaters which is a good thing. Apparently they will be offering premium features to make money. They have an extensive list of geographic locations but I hope they keep adding marinas as several I know of are missing. I imagine as the app gains popularity many more marines will want in. I will have no problem using this app. Here's a list of the locations:
Connecticut
Long Island
New York
Block Island
Rhode Island
Newport
New Jersey
Boston Harbor
Martha's Vineyard
Massachusetts
Nantucket
Cape Cod & the Islands

Used it coming south this yr, without a problem. I do admit, I prefer talking with someone to confirm.
