A typical afternoon and early evening rain squall is moving through the area so naturally all the boaters who failed to listen to the weather or even just watch the darkening sky over the last several hours are blasting through the slow speed water ways in heavy rain and reduced visibility.
So I have to ask if you guys think lack of attention to weather and poor planning provided absolution for blasting through slow speed areas throwing wakes against docked boats.
By the way in the time it took me to write this the storm cell is already clearing so idf they had remained at the bar for another half hour it would have been over. Wind never exceeded 15KTs and there was a bit of lightening.
All over now and as usual will be clear for the fireworks.
