Two weeks ago I put my first 150+ gallons of E-10 into my boats fuel tank. I had about 1/4 to 1/3 of a tank of MTBE left over. Immediately, (about 400yrds away from the fuel docks I started having water in my fuel issues.) Just before the fillup things seemed fine. Anyhow, tried to get up on plane and as soon as I did the engines showed the signs of water in fuel and before I could lay her back down both engines shut down. Checked the racors and sure enough they were filled to the brim with water. Reprimed and putzed back to the dock where I emptied them again to find maybe 1/4 filled with water. Anyhow, I have since then emptied the filters 4X becvause the engines stalled and found the same thing..water. Not clear water but a nasty brownish colored water. I can't seem to get rid of it. Engines run fine until I try to plane...I guess the action of the bow being in the air is enough to get the water near the pickup tube and then you know the rest of the story.

How do you get it outa there? I treated with Stabil so I don't lose the new fuel to age, since this new gas doesn't last long....I was thinking of purchasing one of those 12V, explosion proof, grounded fuel pumps used for barrels, hooking up a fuel drier and just circulating until I get a good portion of it out. I'm tired of having the engines shut down on me.

Any suggestions...besides going diesel or getting someone to come in and dispose of nearly 300gal of fuel?
