ECM board

Does anyone know of any shops who repair ECM boards? I have 8.1 ho crusaders and lost my starboard tach, did all the troublshooting and found bad ECM board.

I did they only deal with merc ecm. I have crusader engines.

I know I had a problem with my tach on one 8.1L HO Merc, it ended up being a software setting I could change through my System View 5000 displays.
While this doesn't help perhaps Crusader has a similar tach pick up (sensor) setting in their ECM?

At the price I saw of just over $1022 for a replacement ECM, I can see why you'd be interested in finding a repair/reflash shop. Have you checked with the nearest Crusader dealer or called the factory techs?

I did talk to crusader rep he said new unit was about 1100.00 bucks and that was about it. I have found other threds with people with same problem and crusader does not want to admit there is an issue according to an article i read on other forum.

Why not try and contact the Boat US resolution center? They get pretty good results for many owners with problems.
What year is the motor/ ECM?
