Can anyone recommend a marine electrical engineer in the Newport News/Hampton/Norfolk VA area? Also a patent attorney, preferably familiar with marine products? I'm in the design phase of a shore power concept and need professional assistance.

I do not know either in that area.
But have you completed an initial search under google patents to confirm you have an open playing field with your idea already?

Initial search on Google Patents is clear, but I continue that search. That is a good source.
