A little back ground first, 1995 350 mag/alpha 1. Wasn`t running right and thought I had it narrowed down to the carb. Rebuilt the carb (weber) still have the problem.
It will start and idle just fine, but if you bring it up to 1000 to 2000 RPM`s it will start running like it is loading up and run erratic. Blip the throttle and it will smooth out and run fine for a a short time then sound like it`s loading up again. Also I have noticed that when you rev it up and let it sit at, say, 1500 rpm`s, the voltgauge will drop and and when it starts " missing" there is also alot of fluctuation in the gauge ( a drop in the gauge that corrisponds with the miss) The gauge is reading around 10 volts or so when this is happening.
I know I have one bad battery and will replace it in the morning, could this be the problem?
