Is it necessary to fit a vented loop in the raw water inlet hose for an electric head to be installed on a sail boat? Should the vented loop be fitted between the inlet thru-hull fitting and the toilets macerator pump, or should I extend the hose between the pump and the bowl wash and place the vented loop in this section (similar to how you would rig a vented loop on a manual head).
