Hello.
I just went from a Catalina 30 to a 1987 SR 270 Sundancer. Probably not the best time to be getting in to a power boat, but I was having a hard time finding crew.
We love the Sundancer.
Only problem I've come across so far is the electric range doesn't work. I think I'm probably missing something cause the rest of the boat is in such good shape.
I turn the circuit breaker on for the range and the 110 outlet by the range. The 110 outlet is hot, but I can't get the stove to get warm.
What should I be looking for? This is when plugged in to shore power.
Thanks for your help.

Jim

Is the 110 outlet a GFI outlet ??

You may need to remove the range.......and check the connections....and see if you have power to the range.

Double D,
The 110 outlet is a GFI.
Does the Electric range power come through the GFI outlet?

I can plug an appliance into the GFI Outlet and the appliance will work.

Thanks for your reply,
Jim

I feel like an idiot.
I just reread the manual and realize there is a "Lidswitch Safety Shutoff" that needs to be in the UP position.

I'm pretty sure that's the problem.

I'll chcke the stove in a few days and let you know.

Jim

yes........sometimes the lid switch gets a little sticky...........needs to be pulled up manually.
