I picked one up at a great price at our local Shoprite on Saturday. Used it to grill wings and hotdogs while out on the anchor.

It works great, I'm convinced!!!

So long propane grill and tank.

Been only telling you about it for years!
We have had one for 10 years now ever since one of those propane tanks leaked in my boat on a trip back from block in rough seas.
The other good thing is most marinas will allow you to use it on your boat since it has no open flame!

One thing, make sure you clean it now and then as the drippings will build up and since it has no flame they collect and don't burn off as good as the gas one does so eventually they will flare up and start a grease fire!

I told you so!

Never going back to propane.

You can get the food to catch fire so be careful, the grease catches fire and it can get interesting.

We have the large one at the condo and it is great also, but I am thinking the smaller one is better for faster heating. I will probably replace the small gas weber with the electric.

I have one for sale that I inherited. Sells new for $599.99 . Was only used for 3 months. Asking $275; located in Hamilton, NJ. If interested contact me at bobjay8888(at)gmail.com .

Propane is for blow boaters with no generator, a bunch of stale water tanks on deck and a single cabin light :)

Love electric grilling: turn the knobs clockwise, grill, turn the knobs counter clockwise. :)

That said, for built in grill, choices are limited. The Kenyons don't get hot enough, even the 220v version, another brand we tried (princes?) was poorly built... I installed a Miele a few months back and so far so good although about $1200

The post I entered on 8/5/15 re Electric Grill had incorrect email address. I edited it but will repeat here. If picture wanted email me at bobjay8888(at)gmail.com .

When I grow up I want to be a captain spending the owner's money. [:P]

That's the part of the job I don't like: Having to break the news that something needs be spend money on!
