I get a lot of electrical noise (static) in my stereo when using any other circuits on my boat, or if the engine is on.
Is there some sort of simple in-line noise surpressing device I can install in the radio's power supply to eliminate this static? The static is especially loud when using items on the same circuit such as the sink pump or cabin fan, but it also is evident when using separate circuits like the bilge pump or blower.
The noise really stinks when the choice is to keep the fan on for my infant son or listen to the baseball game. So far the fan wins.
