Can someone familiar with both please compare these two product lines? I'm looking for chartplotter/gps, radar, fishfinder/depthsounder, weather, as well as something to display the status from the output of my electronic Cummins QSC diesels.
My marina is outfitting my new boat with the electronics, and they're recommending the E series. It looks good, but my old boat has a Northstar chartplotter, which I really like. I especially like the raster charts in the Northstar, I think I prefer them to the vector charts in the Raymarine. I don't know what Northstar is offering these days, though.
