Elk River

I would like to go up the Elk north of the C & D Canal to check out the restaurant at Triton Marina. Since I need 4 ft of water would I be crazy to give this a try? Maybe this is a high tide only activity?

I haven't been up there since they dredged the upper Elk a couple years ago, but you might be OK. I suggest you call Triton before heading over there. 410-620-3060

4' might be a little much up there. Maybe high tide only. It is well marked and some larger boats at Triton. Have not been up there this year yet, but have gone in and out of there in a 22' IO.

I use to be right across from the Triton and I draw almost 3 feet. You would be ok except for low tides and you would have to tie up along the fuel dock.

Went up there last week not a problem however C team is right...the slips for the restaurant are near the shore and the water is tight...if you were out at the fuel dock you would be ok.
