Thereis currently a mandate on the books which requires a certain amount of ethanol to be used in the US fuel supply. This was initiated when it was believed we were running out of oil.
That is no longer true and the mandate requires an increasing amount of ethanol every year. E 15 will be required to comply with the mandate.
It is time to end the mandate.

The following is a form to send your opinion to your representatives in Washington.

Wouldn't it be great to live in a country where the elected ones actually listened to, and cared about, the thoughts of their constituents? But, I agree Kev, E15 is a bad idea.

Good one, Bruce - thanks for the morning chuckle!

Other than local elected officials, seems those in 'higher office' don't have a clue, or care to find one.

Kevdon,
Thanks for the link. I did my civic duty. Now let's see if others (on the receiving end) do theirs.

I also did my duty. Boat U.S. sent an email out a while back with a link to your local officials about ending the E15 mandate.
