Hi All I was going to have a flush unit put in this winter and just found out I already have one. orginaly I was told it was a fresh water hookup when I bought the boat in August. But it goes to the engine. While my dealer did not install it I asked how it works he said you do not want to run the engine as you will just pick up salt water. He said I just hook the hose up and turn it on with the engine off. Does this sound right? I do not want to damage my engine or get water any where I am not suposed to. Here is a picture of the hook up on the outside. It's pprobably not much of a help.
