Hi All
Well after a great weekend on our 03 Chaparral 240 cruiser 5.0 MPI Mercusiser I went to crank it up to go back in and no crank! I first made sure it was in neutral ,still would not crank,I had no tools with me so after about and hour of checking things I could ,circut breakers,loose wires at ignition switch,starter,playing with shifter it finally cranked and was able to get her back to her slip.
My question is were is the neutral safty switch,I think it is on the linkage on the engine but am not sure,also if anyone knows of any common problems with this model boat/engine that would cause a no crank please let me know,thanks in advance for any replies.
