Engine smoke

Quick/silly question. Just had my every 100 hr service on my merc 225 optimax. Started her up letting her idle and noticed smoke. Its not the usual smoke from oil burning more like the smoke that comes out of your car when you first start it up almost clear like and then disipates (sp?). Even seemed like steam like coming off of my shaft as well. Never noticed this before. My mechanic is on vacation so I thought someone would have a reasonable answer and hope its not something serious. Temperature did not increase that much.
