I have diagnosed a value issue on my port 305 v8. I am not sure what need to be fixed yet. I don't think that I personally want to take on the tear down and repair. However, as it is April, my regular service people are busy getting boats ready to launch. Best they can do is probably June (maybe late May) to look at it. Of course, in the past every time I have approached them in June they are 2-3 plus weeks out. So do I get her ready and launch in the next 2 weeks? Only to be hauled out if they need to in June. Or have them set her aside until they can get the work done? Or do I launch her and try to do the work myself? Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.
