Espar, Webasto or other ?

We are liveaboards in Southern New England on our 41' trawler for 3 yrs now. We have a 30,000 BTU Diesel fireplace in the main salon, Dickenson propane fireplace in the forward cabin (waste of money)and we have been using two electric oil filled radiators in the engine room and aft cabin. I am thinking about upgrading the E/R and aft cabin heaters to one of the above options. Anybody use these and have opinions, lol.
I saw the post about the Hotstart block heaters and I will look into that. We dont take the boat out in the freezing temps so the purpose is just to keep them at 50В° F or so.

I'm not sure what you're looking to do, but I put in a Hurricane hydronic heater and it heats the boat great. I have a 45' Chris Craft Commander, motor yacht style. We live in the northeast and the last two years were our first. It works great. Webasto was another brand I looked at and I think Espar is forced hot air. It depends on what you're looking to do.
