Evinrude 2002 Ficth 200 HR

My son looking at bowrider with this motor. Looking for the good bad and ugly on this motor.

Do more research but I think by 2002 Evinrude had the Ficth problems worked out. Is the boat run a regular basis? They say that a good running Ficth in 2016 has all it's problems behind it.

I would find another motor is available.

Think of resale, unless you are getting it dirt cheap.

Motor has a bad rep.

One of the worst times for Evinrude.
