One side is now in place, new manifold that is, but the new bolts that came with it are approx. 1/4" shorter than the originals...should this make a difference, or am I being paranoid? I put the old bolts in the two outer holes, and 2 new ones in the center, sort of a compromise. Not starting engine for several days yet, still have to do the other side, so could change them if needed.
And another question. How in the world is there no exhaust leak with only 4 bolts holding the manifold in place? Only a single bolt holds the front and rear of the manifold to the port.
I don't want to have to pull these monsters off and re-do them!
