I have a question for some of the more experienced diesel people..
I have a twin volvo 480 hp TAMD74Ps. WOT is 2600. I make 19.7 kts at 2230 rpm. I don't yet have a good way to estimate fuel consumption (other than "geez, where'd all the fuel go?"). It seems like I saw a formula on this board once for estimated fuel consumption based on horse power. Can anyone help me? Anyone have these same engines?
