Read this on another forum & cant say it true or not:
'I had a Falvey policy written via NBOA. I had it for two years. Then, I was advised by another sailor to read the policy very slowly. It states that the insured vessel must be deemed "seaworthy" at the time the policy is written. If ANY PART of the vessel is not seaworthy, the entire policy is voided. About the only way to prove the vessel was "seaworthy" is to have a survey done each year.'
