looking to move boat to jersey shore next year,
want to find a family friendly marina with a pool. not sure about location, yet but would like it to be no more than 1 50 1.5 hours from bucks county.
things I am lookig for are
close to beach
short ride to inlet for fishing
clean restroom facilities

boat size is 33 ft

I'm not sure how far you are from Waretown, NJ but I realy like the marina I am in now. Holiday Harbor has a pool, fuel dock, 2 travel lifts and is right accross the bay from Barnegat Inlet. I have been there 9 years and I can't see going anywhere else.

Check out Seaview Harbor Marina Longport, NJ. Was all the things you are looking for but costly.

Key Harbor is also in Waretown, pool, resturant and three bath houses.
Lots of kids here, owners are good.
3 miles to Barnegat inlet, as for the beach you'll have to drive to LBI (approx 30 min)
Going on our 5th year, love it.

i came across light house point marina in toms river, on a web search
has anyone been there? how was it

Yes Bob,

Usually stay a bit out of the pack due to my boats wild swing.
I missed aquapoloza but it rained anyway.
If you see me, raft to my port side.

Is Britanic your boat name? I was stuck up north last weekend. I'm usually in close near the walkway. I'll look for you this weekend.

This is our 3rd season at LHP Marina in Toms River and we love it. It's kid and pet friendly. The manager is "hands on" and the mechanic is knowledgeable. On the weekend's there's always someting going on at the pool (dj, band or some kind of activity for the kids). The A, B & C docks are very busy but we like it at S-dock where it's a little more laid back with new bath/shower.

Plenty of restaurants and food stores in the area and only minutes from Exit 81 on GSP.

Bob,

Looked for you Saturday, obviously I didn't find you, a bit crowded with the band on a barge going on. I'll keep an eye out this weekend.

they said 900 boats, I stayed up by the boardwalk, wasn't as crowded and I'm not much of a country western fan...
