I just replaced all the instruments on my Bayliner. I put 2 new faria tachs and a faria engine sync on it. The sync needle isn't steady even though both tachs are dead on equal. I tried connecting both sync feeds to 1 tach just to see and that worked.
On my last boat, I had a teleflex sync and that was a 2 part unit, I wired the tachs into this sender and then the sender into the sync gauge. It worked perfectly. The faria doesn't seem to have that part, but I do still have that sender from my last boat. Maybe I could wire it up and into the faria gauge?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
