Watched some videos that I took on trips to Bimini. Last time over was 2006. Got the urge and started thinking about what would it take to go.
Filled out Passport forms, will make it my business to apply this week.
Boat is running fine, new fuel tanks, new carbs, new batteries and cables but definitely will need to haul, clean bottom and paint, new zincs while its out.
Best plan: Leave early Friday AM, Return Sunday late afternoon, Weather permitting.
Round up a crew that likes to fish and could stay a little longer if weather turned real bad.
Used to stay on the boat off one of the small cays to the south but Dave S. Spoiled me and showed me how comfortable it was at Blue water marina, Pool and BBQs you know.
Will Start to put some $$ together for fuel and fees.
Weekend trip to Key Biscayne would be shorter distance, less expensive. Nice water in the keys but what about the fishing and adventure of crossing the stream. What say you Pascal??
