The season is over, Hogan is on the hard.

She was in the water from April 2 - November 6, a tad over 6 months.

We spent 110 days and 86 nights aboard.

Put 58 hours on the engines, burned 976 gallons of gas (around $3600 worth).

Took an 18 day, 378 mile, vacation to Long Island Sound, stopping at Lloyd Harbor, Greenport, Block Island (we didn't see Bob there) and Mattituck.

Sold the jet boat and bought a center console. (I have no idea how much gas we spent on those two!)

All in all, we had a fantastic summer, weather was good, no major problems with any of the boats. Plenty of raft-ups, lots of great food, drinks and laughs.

Only 58 hours. With that many days on the water, I would have thought alot more than 58 hours.

Sounds like a fun summer for you guys.

FINAL RECAP

45,162 cans of miller lite
16 bottles of Patron
13 gallons of gas used to pump out
Not sure if the motor actually runs
Every weekend on the vessel...so, whatis that, like 75 nites aboard(down from last years 160 something)
Greatest summer weather I have ever seen!

hooha!

Actually, 58 hours is a bit more than normal, usually, I'm right around 50.

Randy, very impressive numbers - I am unable to keep track of the number of beers, but I'm sure you got me beat!

We broke 100 hours last weekend, should finish around 105/110 before the cover goes on. Was a bit cold and windy out there today but still got a couple of hours on the engines.

Randy, with that many beers I don't think you used enough gas pumping out, should be much higher!

Mike, PINK?

I agree with the masses - I can't believe all those days on board and so few hours. Did you get a new flatscreen TV/DVD player with movies in questionable taste included, that you didn't tell us about? (Consult your lawyer before answering.) I flew over your neighborhood Thursday from Manhatten to Albany before heading east and the river looked pretty vacant. Ended up in Albany/Clifton Park yesterday and the only thing I found was at the bottom of the RPI hill...

last call....

Maybe we should make it a traditional thing, open to all river nuts. December dinghy races!

That sounds like a plan, what part of Florida do we bring them to?

Come now Dan, there is nothing like doing a triple 30 on the Hudson in December.

Winds in the 30's
Temperatures in the 30's
Water in the 30's

Re---FRESHHHHHING!!!!

I guess as long as the BAC is in the .30's I could handle it.

Like Randy we spent about 500 hours on board the boat and ran it for about 10. Oh well. We did put a couple of hundred hours on the air conditioner, though...

The little boat got a lot of use, that is, until I managed to put it on top of a rock on my last trip out for the year. Go figure.

Oh well, I'm off to FL this weekend for a nice, long, warm trip...

Mike how's the center console this time of year,Bobby said it was a little chilly when he went for his last ride.

It was DAMN COLD, brrrrrrrrrrr. But I might have to break it our for the winter dinghy cruise!

Hey mike if you do that I may have to pass John's dinghy ride and come with you (ONLY KIDDING JOHN)

She's up at PB tonight. Nice trip up the river, the water was like a small inland lake. Glass.
An absolute pleasure.
Got a (sick and twisted) laugh at the pumps when I saw the tow/"salvage" tug with it's hull up
to
___
here in water. I know, not funny, but I guess I needed something to laugh at since I'm used to Alpine prices. I'm confident that the crew at PB will take good care of her and us.

Mike,
What do you mean you didn't see Bob there at Block Island. Do you not forget who caught all the squid this year, well close to all the squid. [:-weepn]
I will have to agree with you. It was an excellent year for boating. We spent every weekend on Starry Night and soon to be renamed to Starry Night II from April 23 - November 16th. Oh yeah the boat comes out tomorrow. Enjoyed many weekends with everyone From Penny Bridge, Stony Point, and Haverstraw. Went on an excellent 2 1/2 week vacation to Oyster Bay, Port Jeff, Mystic Conn, Block Island, Riverhead (Atlantis), Shelter Island, Green Port, Hunnington.

So let see what I did this year on the boat.
Starry Night - New Ultraleather interior
New carpeting, new bolster, new transmission, new heads, new dripples, new hot water heater, new bimini and camper top. Removed two LCD TV's removed 6 disc DVD changer and amps, removed one Raymarine RL70crc,removed my ICOM 604 radio. Finished every project this year.
Traded 32 Carver Montego-Starry Night - We'll miss her. The boat never ran so good!!

Purchase Carver/Trojan 440 Starry Night II
We are enjoying this boat very much. As my wife Ilene will say, "Oh I just love comming up on this boat every weekend."
I guess is time to whole thing all over again. Well sort of. So things to add, Sat TV, New Radar mount for Sat TV, Install RL70crc, add DVD,ICOM,and AMPS. Install new cockpit carpeting and additional lighting. Look into a davit for Dinghy.

I guess it's time for the BOAT SHOW!!!

Hey Mike, When do you what me to start on your cushion for your interior!?!? I will have some free time and I will need some money!!!![:-eyebrows]
