Fireworks in Rock Hall

We want to come down from the Sassafras to see the show. Where is a good place to anchor out to see the show and spend the night? Is it to rough outside the harbor to spend the night on the anchor? How crowded has it been in previous years to move back to Swan Creek after the show for the night on the anchor?

Greg. Our yacht club is up there ( Haven Hrb.) for the 4th. Several anchored in Swan So join the party. Unfortunatly due to medical issues we are not there. Back Creek Yacht Club.

It may be a little late but the best place is from a marina IMO. I would not like to anchor out overnight. Just for the show, maybe but then I'd retreat to Swan Creek for the night. I suspect others will be doing the same. Be sure to use charts as I'm sure you know. Myself, I'm going to plop myself on a chair for the Georgetown show. Rock Hall is nice but we're staying home this year.

A couple years ago Rock Hall lit a shed on fire behind the Sailing Eporium. Can't get any better than that! Delay in the show so the fire dept could put it out. Watch your canvas!
