We had our first raft-up today, five boats over in Croton. It was a hot one. Let's hope we have plenty more this summer.

Were there a lot of other boats there or just a few? There wasn't a single boat in Bowline when I drove through on my Jet ski. Maybe next week I will join you if I ever get in the water.

Rommer I know you tried to warn me, What can I say you where right I had high hopes and I still do.
 
You'll be in soon enough Dave and then the frustrations of installation will be long forgotten.

Dan you are welcome to come visit and do some boating upon your return.
If the tides are right maybe we can even leave the dock. :}
 
Days like yesterday sure help make the hours and hours of prep and cleaning seem like a distant memory....
 
Also took my first swim of the season. 62 degree water is not a whole lot of fun. I think the zincs will get changed in another few weeks!
 
Rommer, you went in the water yesterday? Was it to check the zincs or just on a dare? I am not sure it was 62 degrees it felt colder to my hands as I pulled a piece of driftwood away from my boat. All I can say is brrrrrr. You are a brave man - or else completly off your rocker.

Many would say off my rocker but it was a very refreshing dip to cool off from the heat and humidity of yesterday. Didn't stay in long!

The zincs will be done in a few weeks while I'm wearing a 3/4 wet suit.
 
It said 62 degrees on my Furuno temp sender. Even our kids went in the water and were having a blast.

I went in but had help from someone. Center of gravity finally took over
