My wife and I went poking over around Fishers Island today. We entered the main harbor and anchored off of some really nice homes, just to the east and a little south of the main channel. I could see some docks and a Mobil fuel sign to the west, but I did not have the kayak or the inflatable to go exploring. What is it like up at the end of the channel? Is there a town or a place to procure provisions?
Unbelieveable day compared to Friday. Fishers Island Sound was smooth as glass, not to many other boats out. I need a few more like today before I give up for the season.
