I am looking for a fishfinder for less than $200, to go with my Navman 5500 tracker unit I had installed last year. It doesn't need to be fancy, or in color, but it does need to have as high def a picture as possible, be able to have a shoot-through hull transducer, and be available at boatfix.com. It seems the Humminbird 535 fits the description - any of you salts have any comment on this product? It will be used in freshwater, no deeper than 100ft, and by myself and my 8 yr old son - who understands what "fishing" is (sitting on the swim platform repeatedly casting and retrieving a lure), but is curious about what "catching" is. Any advice about this or other fishfinders greatly appreciated. Cheers, Andy.
