Fishing in the fog 11/15/2011

Dense fog this morning. I fished around the launch with my trolling motor and was able to catch 6 Specks and 2 Reds on topwater. Wish it was better, but I'll take what ever I can catch.
I was afraid to crank up and run around with all the dense fog. My trolling motor batteries work real good. They stayed up for 2 hours of running around.

A lot of that white stuff you see is slime that thickens when you put them on ice.
The red looking ones are from where they bounce around in the ice chest.
There were none when I put them in the ice chest after catching.

There are some on the bellies of the bigger ones that sit on Oyster reefs all day and
night. But these were caught in 40 to 60 ft. deep water, on topwater lures. They were
chasing small bait going down the river on an outgoing tide.
