My Son and I and 3 of our coworkers took the boat out 7 AM Sunday. Seas were 3-4 feet, not to comfortable but no one got sick.
We trolled 5 rigged Ballyoo and 1 on the downrigger from 100 to 800 ft depth for 3 hours with only one nockdown. lots of scattered weeds, had to constintly clear the stuff off the lines.
Finally dropped the hook in 80 ft, just outside the 3rd Reef and Bottom fished. Caught a couple of keeper Yellow tail Snapper and a couple of Grupper. Pablo, our Cuban friend caught 3 big colorful Trigger fish. I usually throw them back but Pablo Says they are good eating. Got back to the inlet about 1 PM. We stopped at the Sands for a couple of Burgers and a beer or 3. We had fun but I coudnt wait to get home and hit the nice comfortable Couch, I was out like a light in minuits.
