I haven't heard from flutterby also. I e-mail her last 12-March, I was on the water for 3 days last weekend. Also her son is a pilot at Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.

I have my boat in the slip next to her and I have not seen her for a while. I ask about a week ago with the owner if he had heard from her. He told me at that time he receive an e-mail and her computer was having problems big time. So all I know is she is or was well at that time and not able to use her computer.
 
Next time you go down to the boat could you please stick a note on her boat saying "All at Boater ED send their regards and miss you. Please come back soon"
 
Yes, why not give her a call and sign my name too.
 
No news on Flutterby yet.....I have never met her but have enjoyed her participation here for a long time. I sure hope she is alright and maybe just vacationing somewhere where the sun is out, the water is flat and the wind is mild.

I have met Liz a number of times in person and I too am worried about her absence. I just sent her a private email to inquire if she is okay. I'm currently up in her neck of the woods on vacation. Hopefully I'll hear back from her and if she needs anything I can help her out. I let her know that you are all missing her and said to say Hi.
 
I just tried to call her just now. All I got was an answering machine. Maybe somebody at SJYC keeps in touch with her.

hi all, i belong to sjyc and i am not having any luck either.i'm
quite concerned ,i have called her cell phone, and her land line
also e mailed her
,still no luck.another toy mentioned her son in alaska. maybe she's
visiting him. anyway we all get worried when she is silent. roy hope

I have not meet flutterby in person yet. I'm also concerned. I have been to Alaska, and I know this is not the good time to visit Alaska. It is best to go there in June thru Aug (like most people). does Liz have other friends that would know of her well being....?

It's been several weeks since Flutter was active here but I think I saw a post from her in one thread or another about two weeks ago. I may be wrong about that.

Before Flutter stopped posting she mentioned something about her computer getting a bad virus and that she was considering taking it in for repair. She was going to order a new ignition wire set or some wiring from BoatFix for her boat. She also mentioned some family matters on the right coast that may need her attention.

I met her once at a BE get togther at Spindrift Restaurant the winter before.

I'm glad some the RO's have tried to contact her... let us know if you hear anything.

Hope we hear from Flutterby soon!
 
try sjyc i think she is a member and lives near grass valey iirc. Hope that she is all right.
 
well guys the lost has been found. she is fine, but her computer isn't.
she's getting a new one and will be in touch realn soon.
