hello all
as my last posting said,my number two clyinder was not firing and failed a compresion test.
i took the engine cover off today and found a conrod not attached to the valve lifters. on pulling it out the rod was badly bent and broke off at the base.
i guess this means taking the head off to free a possible seazed valve,but how do i remove the broken off bit of rod?
any idea's or advice would be most welcome.
my engine is a mercuriser 3lt lx 1993.
