This season I will be moving from Woodcleft Canal to Freeport Creek (Atlantic Yacht Haven). I have never been down Freeport Creek before. How long will it take to get to Little Swift Creek. Is it 5mph the whole way ?

This will be my first season there as well.

I don't know for sure but I was told it is 15-20 mins to Jones I. Ask Alan. He runs those Sea Tow boats back and forth all the time.

Looking forward to getting there around mid April.

I'm at Grovers, just south of Atlantic Yacht Haven opposite the Fire Dept. training course. From AYH to the last marina at Cow Meadow park is about 3/4 to 1 mile and all 5 mph. Then opens up until you reach the foot of Hudson canal where it drops back to 5 mph to the bottom of Woodclef. Nice and quiet up our way and we'll protected. Tow Boat comes out of your marina so eyes are always open and protecting our area. Both Chris and alan are great guys, and aim to please. My bow is out into the canal behind the motel at Grovers so wave as you go by.
