I am putting NEW (not rebuilt) 5.7 Votreck in a boat I purchased. This boat WAS driven in salt water BUT I ONLY plan on putting boat in fresh (lake) water.
Questions are this: Would anyone recommend on putting a fresh water cooling system in boat that will spend most likely all it's life in fresh water lake?
What are advantages vs disadvantages for 1/2 Block cooled system vs Full that cools block and manifold
Any major drawbacks are there to the fresh water cooling system?
Are their any Brands to get or avoid?
