Nova Kool Frig r4600 - works fine on AC, switch to DC runs half hour sometimes, sometimes 2 minutes and shuts off. 8 years old. Any ideas - bad board maybe?

voltage is one thing, but not everything, does the frig run ok when the engines are running, thus
using electric power from the alternator. If the frig works ok using the engines, then you do have
a power issue from the batteries. the only real measurment is wats(e*i=W) e=volts, i=amps, w= wats or
true power
